On September 17, our Ph.D. student Élise Heinen participated in the AQIA Symposium to present the progress she has made on the third chapter of her doctoral thesis through a 180-second oral presentation and a poster presentation.

At the end of the event, her work was recognized with two awards:

  • First prize for the oral presentation (sponsored by Datahex)

  • Second prize for the poster presentation (sponsored by ICSTA—Quebec Chapter)

The conference also gave her the opportunity to reconnect with the Julie Jean Laboratory team, with whom she collaborated last summer. These awards highlight the quality of her research as she begins the final stage of writing her doctoral thesis.

She proudly represented our lab, and we congratulate Élise on these honors.

We wish her the best as she continues her work.
